it has been 5 days since my arrival in australia.i don't feel much like i'm in a foreign country untill this evening, when a Hong Kong guy, who stayed in the same hall with me, asked me about Muslims.
his 1st question, is it true that only those who went to mecca can wear the white hat(kopiah)? where he got that info?!?!/. hmmm no wonder there are a lot of misunderstandings about muslims.he also asked simple questions like, what is kaabah, is it hot to wear the hijab, what is the difference between the white n the black hat (kopiah dan songkok),you cannot eat pork because it's dirty? omg how should i response to those Qs.i tried my best at least for NOT giving THE MISLEADING explaination. at the end of the conversation, i only can say to Kelvin "i'm so sorry i couldn't explain in details because of my limited vocab." =(
what a shame right?
i've been tooo relax hoo haa hoo haa right here in clayton. i'll try my best to be a good muslimah and islam's ambassador. 1st of all, i'll improve my english..hmmmm how huh?

i think the most important is we know the points (answers for Kelvin's Qs)
then u can work out the sentence how to explain... usually they'll try to understand eventhough our english is like lintang pukang :),
They have great interest about veil (hijab) that they assume as a discrimination towards women.Use this chance to correct the misunderstanding.

the best think just relax n be confident in wut are r u thinking n believing. huhu. i also hv da same problem whn they asak about prophet, israel, n many thng. just be confidnt n xplain to them in the best way. i mean in general concept first. unless they are asking about the details, then try to elaborate them as possible as you can. Allah sentiasa menolong hambaNYA yg berusaha menegakkan agamaNYA. tq
